Seroius Sam 4 Walkthrough Tips
• In the game you will come across locked doors. Some of them can be opened using keys (we will highlight such moments in the walkthrough), while others will open only after the elimination of all enemies on the map. There is a color indicator above these grates (doors). Red – means the door is closed. If you killed all the enemies, but the door did not open, then try to carefully examine the location.
• Almost every new chapter you will pick up new weapons. Sam will also lose this weapon. Examine the locations carefully to find the guns again.
• Completing additional tasks can replenish your arsenal with good weapons, gadgets and artifacts for buying skills.
Man vs. Beast
After the intro, attack the enemies in front of you until the chapter-ending cutscene begins.
Death from Above
You appear at a small location. Use Sam’s pistol and move deeper through the tunnels. After getting out, pick up the shotgun in one of the alleys.
Here you will also meet new acidic opponents who attack with acid and explode upon death. Deal with them and go forward. Your companion, Kenny, will show you the way to the side quest.
THIS QUEST IS SIMPLE. YOU NEED TO GO UNDERGROUND, GO THROUGH THE TUNNELS AND FIND AN IMPROVISED CAMP. AS ONLY YOU GET IT TO IT, THE QUEST WILL BE FULFILLED AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A NEW DECEPTION GADGET.
SUCH GADGET CAN BE USED TO DISTRACT PART OF THE ENEMIES IF YOU COLLECT WITH A LARGE GROUP OF ENEMIES. WE RECOMMEND TO USE GADGETS ONLY AT THE TIMES WHEN THEY REALLY NECESSARY, BECAUSE SUCH DEVICES ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY REPAIRED.
Return to recruit Kenny after completing the side quest. Go to an open location and pick up the second weapon – a double-barreled gun. Go to the locked door to appear a new monster “Angry Bull”. Deal with him, and when the door opens, follow along the location.
Move around the city at the same pace until you reach the church. Watch the scene with Father Mikhail, the mission will be updated.
Death from the Below
Follow the city streets killing monsters. After a while, you will find the first artifact with which you can acquire new skills for Sam. Similar artifacts will be scattered throughout the chapters. Some of them are in conspicuous places, and some are well hidden.
Head towards your goal. At some point, Father Michael will call Sam and say that the people on the roof need your help. Enter the building and go upstairs. This will start the side quest.
ON THE ROOF OF THE BUILDING YOU SHOULD SIMPLY ELIMINATE ALL ENEMIES. AS A REWARD FOR THIS QUEST, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ASSAULT RIFLE.
Go downstairs and follow the marker. Here you will meet new enemies – demons. They can move quickly and do serious damage. Deal with them, then run to the roof. Kill the group of enemies, go down and watch the cut-scene with Rodriguez and Jones.
After the video, you will face a long battle with large groups of enemies. In total, you need to wait out several waves of monsters, then the final boss will appear. Sam will receive a new weapon – a minigun. Use it to deal with the flying alien creature and watch the final video.
Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Install the first beacon
Run forward until you reach a locked door. To open it, you need to find a key. From where you came from, you should go to the left side of the map. Here you will see an iron gatehouse, inside you will find a key on a wooden board.
OPENING THE DOOR, YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER LOCKED GRATE. THIS IS AN ADDITIONAL TASK, FOR WHICH YOU CAN GET ANOTHER GADGET. JUST FOLLOW THE BLUE MARKER, FIND THE KEY AND OPEN THE GRATE.
Continue to run after the yellow marker. In front of the gate on the right you will see another metal gatehouse. Read the letter on the table and take the keys. This will begin the next additional quest.
IF YOU SUPPLY THE FIRST LIGHTHOUSE NOW, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE ADDITIONAL QUEST DESCRIBED ABOVE. INSTEAD, ROLL RIGHT AND FOLLOW THE BLUE MARKER. AT THE END OF LOCATION, YOU WILL FIND THE CORPSE OF Alessandro, AS WELL AS AN ADDITIONAL MODULE “UNDERBARRED Grenade Launcher” FOR THE SHOTGUN.
Secret boss
Go back and place the first beacon. Of course, after that another battle awaits you. You can also find a secret boss in this location. Follow the left side of the map from the place where the beacon was installed, then turn right. You will see a small arch with first aid kits on the shelves inside. Collect them and kill the appearing enemies. There will be more and more first-aid kits and enemies. Do this until the monsters are around the pedestal in front of the arch. When you deal with them, the secret boss will appear on the pedestal.
Install a second beacon
Follow the marker and place the second beacon. On the way to it, you can find an artifact and pump an additional skill. Here you will also meet a new enemy with a hammer. Such opponents are vulnerable only to shots in the back. You can also get rid of them with a shotgun-mounted grenade launcher.
Run forward until the professor contacts you. At about the same moment, you will find a new weapon – a rocket launcher. After the professor’s monologue, you will be able to complete the next additional quest
ALL YOU NEED TO DO TO PERFORM THE ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY IS TO GET TO THE ARTIFACT AND SELECT IT. IF THE LAST GATE DOES NOT OPEN, THIS MEANS THAT LIVE MONSTERS REMAIN SOMEONE IN THE LOCATION. REMOVE THEM, OPEN THE GRATE AND TAKE THE ARTIFACT.
Go back and install the second beacon. As usual, in order to continue the passage, you need to get rid of all enemies in the location. After installing the second beacon, the task will be updated.
Save Jones
Having dealt with the last enemies, follow the arena. Here you will find a battle with the level boss. In the future, such a monster will appear in other chapters as a common enemy. Use the under-barrel grenade launcher and double-barreled gun to quickly deal with it.
Gates of Hell
The chapter begins immediately after the battle with the last boss. You need to get out of the burning due to the volcano in the area. Just run forward and kill monsters. At some point, the professor will again contact you by radio and ask you to find five parts from the burnt corpses of extraterrestrial organisms. Follow the blue marker to collect them all.
Along the way, you can pick up a Sniper Rifle and C4 Explosives. The rifle is in one of the lanes.
You find Explosive C4 in a large box, highlighted in yellow. With its help, you can blow up wooden barriers. This is necessary to continue the passage, and find some hidden objects: armor, cartridges and first aid kits.
When you find a wounded Kenny, you have to fight off several waves of monsters. Do this and get ready to face the next boss. You can kill him with any firearm. Shoot when he appears in line of sight. From time to time, the enemy will move through the air. You can use a sniper rifle to quickly deal with him.
The Die is Cast
In this chapter, you will travel with Rodriguez. You will also meet new enemies – snipers, which can be tracked by a red laser beam. Basically, such enemies are on top: on the roofs of buildings and other structures.
At the beginning of the chapter, you will receive a new weapon – a multi-rocket launcher. With its help, you can destroy a large concentration of enemies with several grenades.
Follow the yellow marker until you reach the first fork. If you go to the right, you will be able to complete the side quest and receive the gadget as a reward. When such a device is activated, a black hole will appear on the map, which, upon completion of the action, will destroy all monsters on the map.
TO PERFORM SIDE ACTIVITY, YOU NEED TO GET TO THE PORTAL AND ACTIVATE A FEW SWITCHES. DURING THIS YOU WILL HAVE TO Fight off a LOT of enemies. RETURN TO THE MAIN TASK AFTER THE QUEST IS COMPLETED.
Back on the main path, you’ll see a blue box on your right. Examine it to get the Cluster Grenade Multi-Rocket Upgrade. To activate it, release an ordinary grenade by pressing LMB, then, until the grenade explodes, press RMB.
Go down to another open location and deal with several waves of enemies. Follow the marker and watch the cut-scene.
Morituri Te Salutant
For this chapter, you just need to follow the marker on the map until you get to the Colosseum. In the only place Sam will need to find the key to the gate. The location of the key is also marked with a marker.
When you find yourself at the Colosseum, watch the video with Ahriman, after which you have to fight with several waves of monsters. At the end of the battle, watch another cut-scene before the battle with the chapter boss.
A huge crab will use small monsters that will chase Sam. You can ignore them by simply moving around the map and shooting at the boss.
When in Rome
Get out of the tunnel and go under the bridge. There will be several snipers on the bridge, so first you need to deal with them. Go up the stairs. On the right, you will see a man from whom you can take the side quest.
TO COMPLETE THE SIDE QUEST JUST FOLLOW THE BLUE MARKER. IT IS POSSIBLE TO EVEN NOT DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES, BECAUSE ON ARRIVAL TO THE DESTINATION, THE CAT SCENE WILL AUTOMATICALLY START.
Then follow the main quest, killing enemies and exploring new locations. At some point, a person will call you from a small window in the basement. He will ask you to bring him hypermebendazole from the nearest pharmacy. In return, he will give you some gadgets.
It should be warned that on the way to the pharmacy you will meet a huge number of enemies. You, of course, cannot kill them. Therefore, we recommend getting rid of at least most of the monsters, then picking up the drug and returning to the man from the basement. Keep following the marker until the cut-scene begins.
Machina Ex Deus
After a lengthy cut-scene, Granny will hand you a minigun. We advise you to use this weapon throughout the chapter, as with its help you can easily defeat hordes of monsters. First you need to defeat all the enemies on the bridge. Try not to waste bullets in vain, and when you kill all the aliens, return to Granny. She will tell you where you need to follow next.
Go around the building behind the bridge on the right side, examine the boxes and find another artifact. Again, fight a crowd of enemies, and when the gate opens, then on one of the lanterns you will see a secret gadget. To get to it, climb onto the trash containers, jump from them onto the truck, then onto the kiosk, and then onto the lantern.
