Read the walkthrough of the plot of the third episode of the popular survival simulator The Long Dark.
Chapter 1
Get up from the couch and look around the house. You find a gun by the fireplace in the large room. In the next room, examine the photograph. Pick up a piece of rag in the bathroom on the second floor. After that, go down to the first floor and go to the phone, which just needs to ring. Talk to Molly and return to the room with the broken gun. There is a vase on the table – search it and take the key to the basement.
Go down to the basement and collect useful items. Examine the body on a gurney and go out into the yard. Run right to the stop until you see a yellow tractor, and in front of it is a one-story building. Go inside and interact again with the phone. Gather all supplies and exit the building. Run along the only road to the third bridge. On the right, you will see a public club. Come inside and look for the Priest.
Chapter 2
Inspect the six victims of the disaster and return to the Priest. You need to get to the crash site. We advise you to cross the bridge and follow the right bank of the river, since the road on the left will lead you to the waterfall.
When you get to the crashed plane, immediately begin to inspect all the corpses in the area and find ten driver’s licenses. The first three dead bodies lie at the front of the plane, two more behind the hill to the left. The remaining half of the dead, you will find on the way to the back of the plane.
Collect all the useful items at the crash site: the fact is that you have to drag a wounded girl on yourself. Take cover with Gwen in the nearest cave for the night. When you are ready, go down the only path to the right and get to the burnt house. At this point, the phone will ring – answer the call.
Take the girl to a public club. Do not forget to stop and examine Gwen, which is rapidly losing fluid in the body. When you arrive at the club, put her on a free mattress, inject insulin and talk with the Priest.
Chapter 3
In this chapter, you need to collect a large amount of food, medicine, fuel and other supplies. To complete this task, you can inspect all the nearest houses, bunkers, as well as the crash site of the passenger liner. When the supplies are collected, open the map (the default M key), find the three survivors and proceed with the second part of the main quest.
Run to the place where the survivor is located. Equip a flare gun and shoot into the sky. Wait a few seconds until the wounded man fires in response, then head to the area from which the shot was fired. If you lose track, repeat the above steps. Complete all the sub-items of the main task, talk with the Holy Father.
