Walkthrough Terminator: Resistance

Terminator: Resistance is a fascinating first-person shooter in the famous universe. The hero will have to fight the machines at the very beginning of the war with Skynet artificial intelligence.

Escape Pasadena

After the introductory video, run away from the cars. Once inside the building, pick up the pipe and break the boards by pressing the mouse wheel or the F key. In the next room, there is a first-aid kit and trading resources. Collect all and continue driving until you reach the place where you want to activate the touch device. Press key V. Go further and in the next room you will find a gun. Move the picture to the left, bend down and climb the ventilation. Press T to turn the flashlight on or off. Go through the segment with the creeping creatures. Keep to the left to go around the monsters. Open the door and meet Jennifer with Patrick.
Say you protect the boy.

Get to Ryan and in a conversation with him say that look for the rest of the survivors. The quest will end.

More survivors

Follow the marker, killing enemies. Walking robots are dangerous, so when recharging, try to stay in cover. Be sure to search for destroyed cars. When you examine all three places, then in one of them you will find Laura. Chat with her and free the girl. Do not forget to search different containers and chests to get loot. Go back and destroy the machines that attacked the camp with the survivors. After that, the video will start.

The Rules of Survival

At the moment, 1 skill point is available to you. Spend it by clicking on I and going to the Skills tab. Go down to the basement, collect resources and look at the door. Nearby there is a workbench.

Interact with it to create a master key, and then break the lock
Position the master key in a certain way and turn the lock by pressing D. If the lock does not turn completely, you will have to change the location of the master key. Talk to Colin and go upstairs. Chat with Jennifer to get the No a Toy quest. Speak outside with Ryan to begin the mission Tools for Ryan.

Tip. When you fight with any cars, aim at the red dots. These are vulnerabilities.

Follow to the Warhouse District and go to the nearest outpost. You will need to either break open the door with a light lock (pump skill), or throw a grenade into a brick wall.

Such blasting walls are marked on the map with the appropriate marker.
Inside, you will get in a shelter, as indicated by the icon of the “white house”. Each shelter has a computer for storage and a workbench. Find the note and study it.

Go to the next marker, make your way to the outpost, kill enemies, and find the map hanging on the board. After that, the task will be completed and the mission Where is Colin will begin.

Not a toy

Side quest Terminator: Resistance

This quest is carried out in the same place as the Tools for Ryan quest in the Warhouse District. Hold the Q key to peer into the weapon wheel. Open the map and you will see markers. Yellow indicate plot assignments, blue indicates secondary tasks. Hover over one of the two blue markers to find out the name of the mission. This one is closest to the beginning of the location. Double-click on the marker to make this task active (traceable on the minimap).

Go to the indicated place. Find a note inside the diner on the ground floor. You will find such notes in different places, and all of them will be stored in the archive of your journal.

Find a note on the seller’s counter, go up the boards and open the back room to find the puppy. The task is completed! For such missions you will receive details, experience points and the approval of quest givers. In this case, the approval of Jennifer.

Tools for Ryan

Side quest Terminator: Resistance

This quest is carried out in the same place as the quest No a Toy – in the Warhouse District. Follow the marker, and then enter the building. You can also find a note here. Search the room and find a room with ventilation. Crawl through it to get into the room with a set of tools. Take it to complete the quest.

Skynet’s Plasma Storage

Side quest Terminator: Resistance

This mission is activated when you study this map. As soon as you get the task, go along the marker and make your way to the territory with three large reservoirs of plasma. You can do this through the building on the right, but there is a note in the building on the left before the locked gate. Once inside, kill the enemies and destroy the three tanks. You can shoot them, but it’s more economical to throw them into each grenade.

Where is Colin?

Go to the indicated location and enter the factory. Follow forward until the cut scene starts.

Hospitality

You can talk with Erin in the next room and ask about everything to increase the level of relationships. Talk to Ryan and head to Hospital District.

Go ahead, chat with Jennifer and follow the girl. Lift the sound bait from the hands of the corpse. To drop it, first hold Q. This will open the weapon wheel. Don’t close it and press 6 to switch between grenades and the sound trap.

Follow the marker and pick up a device for hacking Skynet terminals. In doing so, go on the marker. Hack the panel. You must move the slider to the right between the moving blocks. In the middle of the highway, there is a conservation zone. Thus, you do not have to start all over again. Get into the hospital and find the hostage. You will need to use night vision (V) to get around the terminators. You can’t kill them!

Hide behind various objects. Each terminator supposed to get past. Talk with the hostage and follow to a new area. Move through it and destroy the turrets, and then hide from the terminators until the alarm subsides. When you get to the computer, turn off the power and get out of here. Do not rush on the street. Hide behind the cars and wait for the columned terminators to pass by. Return to the base, talk with Jennifer.

Meds for Erin

Side quest Terminator: Resistance

This mission will be available after you go deeper into the hospital area as part of the Hospitality storyline quest. Visit the nearest blue area, hack an ambulance and take antibiotics. If they are not there, you will have to inspect other cars.

Into the storm

Talk to Erin at the base and go to bed. At this point, your hero will raise several levels; do not forget to distribute talents. To do this, press TAB and go to the “Skills” section. Waking up, go out into the courtyard and talk with the freed soldier, and then with Jennifer and her brother. Tell the boy that his sister is right and leave the area.

After a short video, answer a few questions of the Baron and deal with the turrets. Now you have access to laser weapons. It is powerful, but try to shoot at the vulnerabilities of cars (marked in red). When the terminators appear, try not to protrude and shoot in the head. Follow the group, destroying robots along the way. Do not forget to search the remains of the mechanisms!

Get to the control point, the group will be attacked from all sides, and Jacob will fall into ruins. When you wake up, take a few shots at the T-800, which intends to kill you, rise and run forward to the exit from the hangar. After reuniting with the group, follow straight ahead until the cutscene begins. Follow the Baron in the shelter and talk to him.

Back to Pasadena

Immediately after the start of the quest, you can pick up some useful items. To do this, turn around and climb into the ventilation shaft. Examine it to collect all the items, and then talk with Alvin. After the dialogue, you need to improve your plasma weapon. To do this, open the inventory (I), select a weapon and go to the Upgrade section. You can install three Skynet chips on a rifle. Not all chips fit together, so choose the appropriate combination of chips and save it.

Now you need to talk to Quatermaster. With this character, you can exchange items, or sell unnecessary ones. When you are ready, turn around and talk to Jennifer, then leave the shelter. Walk up to Erin and start a dialogue to take the side quest Colin’s Steash. Return to Ryan and listen to him. Right before you leave the location, Patrick will come up to you and ask you to find something. So you get another side quest, “Chalk-full of surprises.” Leave the zone.

Walk forward, deal with a group of spiders and several drones. At the first fork, turn right and find the passage under the bridge. There are laser mines everywhere: try to avoid them!

Enter the only room, search several boxes and read the note on the couch. Before you leave it – take the key from the table. The task will be updated. Now you need to get to the hospital. Leave the room and turn left. Run forward, but do not forget that there will be enemies. The entire territory is filled with terminators of the T-808 series, which use a flamethrower as a weapon. When you find yourself close to the hospital, you will see the marker of the main task. We recommend not to run there yet, but to do it upon returning from the hospital. Find the entrance to the hospital and go up to the second floor. In one of the rooms, find a large blue medicine cabinet. After that, the task will be completed.

Go down and run to the nearest marker of the main quest. You need to take three photos from this place. To do this, press the V key, point the camera at the desired object and press E. The first part of the story quest is completed.

Skynet’s Eastern Outpost

As soon as you complete the previous quest, this task will begin. When you first take pictures of missile systems, go down from the roof of the building and run to the first point, marked in blue. Hack the doors of the outpost, go down to the lower level and interact with the terminal. Break the terminal, leave the complex; otherwise you will stay here forever!

Go into the ruined building opposite the outpost and go to the marker of the main task. Take pictures of the necessary objects and get out. Just at this moment, the hero is attacked by a huge T-47. We recommend that you do not waste resources on its destruction, since the robot is quite strong. If you still want to try your hand, then use explosive barrels scattered around the location to quickly deal with the machine. In the same way, destroy the second outpost to complete the side quest.

Chalk-full of surprises

You can complete this quest in the transition from the previous marker of the plot task to the next. Get to the task icon and go down to the basement. Inspect the room: there is a computer, a workbench, as well as several locked doors with loot. The box is in the room to the right of the entrance (opposite the corpse with a shotgun). Inspect the empty box, after which you will need to go down to the south of the location.

Nearby, there is another destroyed building. Find the entrance behind the wooden boards and go inside. Use the hole in the floor to get into the basement. Go through the basement and find the stairs to the third floor. There are crayons in the next room on the table. Take them and move to the main task.

Take a picture of all the rocket launchers and do not forget to clear the last outpost according to the previous side task, only then return to the camp.
