Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s story takes place in a few places like England and Norway. You start at Norway being held captive by unknown foes.

At one point in the game you will travel to England, and start raiding there. This is all well and good, but can you travel to Norway? Some might want to return to find other wealth locations or do certain missions and similar.

How to Return Back to the Norway Region – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

There are what are called Synchronization points on the map in Valhalla. Like previous Assassin’s Creed games, these can be used for fast travel.

However, you can use these to travel between regions or in other words from England to Norway, hence why such confusion among players.

If you want to return back to Norway, this is how to do it:

  1. Open your main menu while you are in-game.
  2. Navigate to the World map.
  3. At the bottom left of the screen you will see something called Atlas. Either click it, or click shift.
  4. Now press on the region you want to travel to.
  5. After some loading, you will be teleported to the other region!

Like I said above, this Atlas feature was the main reason why players didn’t know how to travel between regions.

However, in light of this information, you can easily travel between regions, so you don’t have to worry about completing a region 100%.

Nevertheless, it’s important to note that this feature doesn’t unlock instantly.

When Does the Atlas Feature Unlock?

You must unlock England before you can use this kind of fast travel. Depending on how much side missions, mysteries, and exploring you do in Norway, it will take you roughly four hours to unlock England.

After Atlas gets unlocked, you can use it whenever you want. If you choose to do some content from Norway, you can any time you like!
